June, The Perfect Perfect Time To Be A Junior

Part 2 : Junior Takes Two

Here's a rough recap of this week :

1. Monday - Schoolwork day. All work and no play makes school a dumb place. Nothing is worse than the word 'schoolwork' but 'schoolworkS'.

2. Tuesday - You-Make-Me-So-Crangry day. Cranky + Angry = Crangry. Lacked hours of sleep due to the caffeine the night before, I was certainly not in my best behavior.

3. Wednesday - Stomach-Flu day. I had a mean stomach flu the whole day. Promise I didn't gas up the room! Honest!

4. Thursday - Class-Elections day. Missed 3/4 of the double period Chemistry in the morning. The note-catching-up part, not my thing.

5. Friday - Sbarro-Starts-The-Weekend day. My brother and I decided to spend all the money we saved up that week for a huge slice of pizza. We deserved it.

MONDAY - SCHOOLWORK DAY

It was as if the teachers were making up for the time they lost in giving us some over-the-weekend schoolworks that Friday when we were all sent to go home due to the storm, we were having a taste of the post-cyclone attack. If I remember it right, in every subject, we had to do something school-related. There was something to do for Chemistry. And for Geometry. And Computer. And Filipino. And History. And English. CLF and Chinese. Hello? Overload? I was hyperventilating after I took down each task in my assignment notebook. Seatmate Camille told me I was overreacting and that there was no pressure. I disagree! I should really start bringing a paper bag in case that happens again.

TUESDAY - YOU-MAKE-ME-SO-CRANGRY DAY

I am usually a very happy and positive person. I always tell people how wonderful and beautiful the new day is and on some days, I even feel like I'm a walking bowl of sunshine. But on those days, my classmates and friends just think I'm in school high instead of high school.

Not in my best behavior on this particular day, though. So I'm really really really sorry. I blame it on the caffeine the night before.

WEDNESDAY - STOMACH-FLU DAY

I saw the world from behind a washing machine. Everything was spinning. My ears were ringing. And my stomach was hurting like crazy. That was the day I realized how bad a stomach flu was. The same one Mike Newton had in The New Moon. Only he was too much of a wimp so he had to puke. And puke and puke.

Despite all that, I was in a better mood. It was a good thing I didn't let it get the best of me because our group leader, Camille, had to be absent and we were having our CLF phantomime play on the Washing of Feet that day. It was a success. Minus the time I spilled water. It was Kenneth (aka Jesus) 's fault! Naw. Who cares? It was hilarious. Oh hey, why don't I tell you about it right now? Flashback flashback flashback >>>

Monday afternoon, Brother Chester, our CLF teacher, grouped the class into two for the first class role play of the year. We were assigned for the Washing of Feet while the other group was assigned for the Last Supper. Lucky for them, they had until Thursday when we had to have Wednesday. Pressure pressure pressure. Camille took the role of the leader, me the director, Rae took down the very important notes and volunteered to bring the minimal props needed. Character assignment time. William became our narrator so we had to have Nacey be one of the 12 apostles. She was John the Beloved. James played James and Campo played Thaddeus (his second name's also Thaddeus). The main stars were Simon Peter and Jesus Christ. I suggested that Jared should be SP and Lucero be JC. They took the roles promptly.

Thankfully, the music and the props were ready by Wednesday but we needed a dry run on the presentation on Wednesday recess. Only 20 minutes and it was the first real practice we had. More pressure. God blessed us so we finished. Until CLF time came, I was crossing my fingers. We were give 5 minutes of preparation. I filled the pitcher with some water and we helped out in arranging the chairs and setting up the music.

SUCCESS! There were positive reviews from our audience. Lucero didn't feel very comfortable making hand contact with Jared's feet. I was his assistant. Not that Jesus needed an assistant. We had to raise up Jared's foot a little for the audience to see clearly. There were 2 parts I loved the most. Abigail playing devil and seducing Gerard (Judas Escariot of course) into temptation while the Pink Panther theme was played. And the introduction of the apostles while Mariah Carey's Touch My Body played. I was so happy.

Stomach-Flu day has got to be my favorite day of the second week of school. I loved all the goofs and minus the mean stomach flu, it was actually pretty awesome.

THURSDAY - CLASS-ELECTIONS DAY

All members of the Student Council was given the 'privilege' to miss the first period of class in the morning. But I didn't think it was a privilege at all. I love Chemistry. Or at least, I don't want to miss a single discussion of it in case I miss something important. But a year rep's got to do what a year rep's got to do.

William and I teamed up for facilitating the class elections of the freshmen year and Piccola and Chad in the other wing. It was my first time and it was quite interesting. William did the talking and I did the writing. And the mispelling. After that, I got to help tally up the results. One freshman section and my own section, Kostka.

In case you were absent for the week, say, Jethro, pay attention to our classroom official results. President Kean Prudence Romero, Vice-President Rhea Leanne Patalinjug (and possibly first lady hehehe), Secretary Rae Sharlene Legaspi, and Treasurer Walton Royce Tan.

FRIDAY - SBARRO-STARTS-THE-WEEKEND DAY

There's nothing like a gigantic slice of pizza to start the weekend you so well deserve. And you know it. For some reason, I get to save up more quickly than my little brother so I agreed to lend him some money to buy a pizza. But we didn't have enough for drinks so forget about that. I looove the pizza there! Who doesn't?

That's a wrap! Second week's over and I'm anticipating the third. I just hope that it won't be thrice the pressure. Thrice the mess-ups. And only about a month to go until the Breaking Dawn Philippine release date. Pressure much?

June 16, 2008, Monday.

I couldn't sleep. I couldn't breathe.

I was too hyperactive, overenergized, and overexcited.

Only a week ago did we have our Student Council LTS and I have gathered enough information to last me a lifetime. So Mdm. (dot dot dot) is a really nice person but don't you dare cheat in her class. Fine. That's cool. I don't cheat. Unless it's Math. Sometimes ...

The following Friday, I was forced to go to Ayala with younger brother Lyle and our helper (we fondly call her yaya) to help them with the purchasing of school supplies. It was not really as tiresome as I'd thought. I just kept on picking on Lyle and how long it took him to pick a pencil case, an eraser, and everything else. And you know what, the day turned suddenly brighter.

I used up the last hundred bill in my wallet for a plate of Dip n' Nachos at Don Henrico's, with the knowledge that we still had enough spare change for a jeepney ride home. That was when I got the message that I was still going to have the same set of classmates. I swear I almost threw the bowl of cheese on yaya's face. Lyle thought I was just overreacting but in my defense, I love my class. I love my classmates. And I so much loved the misadventures and misforturnes we'd gone through last year. Who wouldn't want another set of those again this year?

Kostka. Got it. My admission slip was safely buckled in my assignment notebook's plastic cover and my new pink pencil case never failed to fascinate me. Everything nice and new always fascinates me. Typical teenage girl, you might say. I hung the most recent keychains I got on my minnie mouse bag and everything was ready that Monday morning.

I woke up at 3. Which brings us back to the very beginning again.

I couldn't sleep. I couldn't breathe.

I was too hyperactive, overenergized, and overexcited.

Since cousins Rhea (who's now in La Salle) and Mark (Lord knows where he is) have graduated from Sacred last school year, the last of the second generation Legaspi's left in Sacred Heart are me, fellow Junior year cousin, Rae, and sixth grader Lyle. I don't think anyone else would dare wake up early for education's sake in this generation.

So it was between Rae's dad and my dad to decide who'll bring us to school every morning. And the usual M-W-F T-Th schedule was followed. Dad managed to convinced Rae's dad to bring us to school on the first day. Unfortunately, we got late. Because the transpo run out of gas in the middle of that jammed and blasted flyover area. It was terrible. We had to ride a cab and the traffic was absolutely unbelievable and so was the meter. In the end, all 3 of us arrived in the campus at 7.45 giggling and joking about how we made history and how beautiful we decided to start the school year.

We took the ramp right across the kindergarten building and help Lyle scan for his section in the list. He was a Gonzaga-n this year. After that, Rae and I marched to the hallways and into the classroom, only to be welcomed with a great applause. It was not in the least embarrassing. Even a little flattering. Familiar faces were smiling and waving and whooting and everything was just as it should be.

Our III-St. Stanislaus Kostka-n advisor is Mdm. Villacrucis and she's also our Chemistry teacher. Chemistry. Pssh. The real scary thing about third year is Geometry. And not even Mr. Dumasis' grim humor can lighten up the subject. His advice is to 'visualize' everything before coming up with an answer. Sounds easy but it's not. Geometry, as early as now, is a mean and hellish subject.

After 2 periods with Mdm. Villacrucis, we met Mr. Dumasis who made us choose partners for the usual first-day-introduction. Margreth and I had no idea what to tell the others of our special abilities so we settled for cooking. Me? Cooking? Yeah right. At least the others bought it. Recess followed shortly after that and everyone filed out of the room and into the hallway outside.

Everyone was exchanging pleasantries and we tried to bond as much as we could. The people who joined the educational tour to Xiamen all had interesting stories to tell us. Rumors flew and were verified true and false and the bell rang. We all went in anticipating the next period. Filipino. And it was still going to be our golden girl Gng. Panares teaching us this year.

We welcomed her with a huge round of applause. Our second year class advisor! And she was still going to be our teacher! Sure, Gng. was not the saint-iest of all teachers last year because we certainly were no angel students but we liked the idea of having her again. At least, I did. I'm not a fan of big changes anyway. After Filipino was Social and again, a second year teacher was rejoining us this year. The crowd favorite Mdm. Torres. If she was fun last year, she's fun-er this year. Window shopping-'mamalit ug bintana'. Lolz.

I had lunch with the usual lunch people I went with last school year and for afternoon classes, we had Bro. Chester, our CLF teacher and also SC moderator. He was not as crazy as he was in the LTS training-pretending to be his female alter ego and sporting that freaky laugh that gets stuck in your head for days, though. Mdm. Mananay! Mdm. Mananay! Some guys in class wanted Miss Toledo to be our English teacher this year but Mdm. Mananay was also our English teacher last year and she was pretty cool. So glad to have her back again this year.

And Lin Lao Shi is our Chinese teacher this year. She was okay. She loves speaking in Chinese really fast and she loves to not call me and Camille (who happen to be seated in the very front of the class) to answer her questions. But that's okay. I always get nerve-wrecked when I have to speak in Chinese. I'm so bad at it-don't you make me speak it unless you understand English or the dialect itself! Hmph!

Ending the week was rather blissful. The typhoon called Franc or Frank or whatever came Friday morning cutting off the afternoon classes. A lot were pretty happy about it and I was one of them. Not entirely blissful but 'rather' blissful. I had a whole Friday afternoon to sleep and with the beautiful stormy weather, I was just sooo happy to catch some time to sleep.

Rae's mom, Aunt Shirley, picked us up from school at around 1 or 2 yesterday with young Renzo and Ralph with her. After Ralph caught his short afternoon snooze, he was all about getting off his sister Rae's lap and playing with me and Lyle. He drooled in the empty Mentos plastic and played with my bag keychains and talking about nonsense. No. They made sense. Kidding. He's a smart kid.

That's my first week of school. In my POV. Heh.

Blog Entry`*`TALES OF TEENAGE POLITICIANS`*`Jun 8, '08 11:42 AM
for everyone

LTS Experience - June 6-8, 2008

Don Bosco Retreat House.

Student Council Officers meet up to have a 2-night overnight.

Not everyone could go.

But lots went.

I still can't understand why others didn't.

It sounded too fun to pass up.

By 5, we got a Vhire for our transpo to head over to the venue.

Since no one could do a carpool.

...

XD

...

Some were light travellers.

Some like Mdm. Torres who only brought a medium-sized sling bag.

That set a record!

But she and Brother Chester and Ms. Romero came in a little after dinner that first night.

Late afternoon we were all roaming around the new grounds and taking pictures.

And telling nearby houses that we were kidnapped and ... (gulp) never mind.

The rooms were sooo dainty.

The aircon was freezing.

And the bathroom was cute.

Everything was so convenient.

I, like, unloaded my stuffs and wore oversized slippers as if it were my home.

And I didn't think people would mind at all.

At around 8, the 3 facilitators came in the picture.

We had our first meeting at the Margaret Hall.

Getting to know each other activities and stuff.

Johnny Pepp.

Vin Diesel.

XXX.

Daddy Angel.

These were just a few things we started laughing about in the first night.

And we got really quiet when Madam Torres started about popular (scary) urban legends.

And then Brother gave us a puzzle to finish.

And we did.

After 2 days.

Everyone helped out.

It was pretty cool.

That first night, William and Camille said they didn't get enough sleep.

Or better yet, they didn't sleep well.

But I disagree.

Well I don't know about William because he was not in our room-

OF COURSE

But Camille had a heck of a night.

She was sleeptalking.

Lolz.

The second day, all we ever did in the morning was meeting meeting meeting.

Snacks at 10.

Meeting meeting meeting.

Everyone seemed hyper enough.

Like Van.

Lozzy.

Jica.

After lunch, we all went to Crocolandia for our Amazing Race activity.

I belonged to a group called the Lux Oriens.

Because the name had to be school-related and stuff and Lozzy made it sound so good when he'd said it.

We were 5 all in all.

With Miss Romero.

The best part about it was the tricycle-riding part.

I mean come on!

How many times have you played Amazing Race like this?

We were running around and telling the driver to hurry.

The road was dusty and the distance was closing.

We were screaming.

At least, I was.

I never really liked Amazing Races or Treasure Huntings or anything like it.

But that ...

That was way different than the usual.

The best part was winning.

Ms. Romero wanted to win so badly that she actually got her wish.

The team was so darn smart and I was completely useless.

Sure I got a few guesses right.

But they were nothing compared to those who swam on ponds, caught annoying fishes, and

AND go down a tunnel.

No.

A drainage.

It was dark. Murky. Stinky. Anti-Claustrophobic people.

It was everything a challenging 'last piece of the puzzle' should be.

I tried to go down.

But 2 steps and I headed back to the surface world.

People were crowding down there.

Cellphones were used as sources of light.

I don't know much other than those mentioned.

I was too much of a chicken.

A coward.

I didn't even touch the albino Burmese python left slithering on the cold floor of the Nature Center of the park.

I did touch the baby croc, however.

William and I had a snap taken. Yey!

Camille had a snake on her neck like a scarf.

Ooh, I wonder how that felt.

And the hissing and the tongue wagging.

I HATE SNAKES!

Amazing Race winners got 2 keychains courtesy of Crocolandia.

A wooden butterfly and parrot (which I thought was a fish. don't ask.)

Jason announced free water to everyone.

That was nice.

Free is a beautiful word.

By the time we all went back to Don Bosco, we were wet and dirty.

Even those who didn't actually participate in the challenges-

Sweat.

Running around.

I couldn't resist taking another half-hour bath.

Dinner followed at around 6 or 7 pm.

Some other guys who went over for a retreat in DB were there in the dining hall but we didn't really talk to them.

They were.

Erm.

Old.

Yep.

So after dinner, we practiced our yell, song, and skit with the same group for the campfire.

It started at around 9.

People got crazy.

Brother Chester and AMDG started a new age for Ipod fanatics.

The Lux Oriens retold their tale of victory.

The Galvaknights had their own version of PCD's Don't Cha.

And the Wildcats had Colbie Cailat over.

The skits got even more random.

And funny.

But hey, you know what they say

"What happens in Don Bosco, stays in Don Bosco".

I don't even have the right to say that.

I didn't do anything to cause a stir in history.

I was being the new me.

A lot more quiet.

Force a few smiles.

Get lost in faraway thoughts.

Pik Pak Boom was the game most of the restless guys played after we were 'dismissed'.

People who got wrong had to dance.

No details necessary.

There were lots of shooting stars last night.

And to be perfectly honest, having grown up in the city all my life, it was a first.

There was one.

And another one.

And there and there and there.

I found myself stargazing last night.

It was ... well ... you don't get to do it everyday.

William came over in the room I share with Nacey and Camille.

We got enough of the happy topics so we went darker and deeper.

The supposed fairy tale bubble I build around myself just to stay sane burst last night.

Made me realize how the truth can benefit you at some point.

I try to live in a world which clashes with the characters and storylines I read from fiction works.

But things don't work like that in real life.

I live in a bubble.

But I got out last night and came back in it a little later.

We were weary in the morning.

People ignored their curfew and most slept at 3 or 4 and forced to wake up a few minutes past 6.

Mood swings ... tsk tsk tsk.

I enjoyed breakfasts there.

We could have milk or coffee.

We had the choice.

Coffee is always a good way to start a perfect day-or a day I WISH to be perfect.

Meeting meeting meeting after breakfast.

An hour or so with nothing to do.

Snacks at 10.

Fr. Hernando and Brother Trembley (spell check?) arrived and we attended mass.

Not Fr. Hernando.

He presided over it.

And he surprised me a lot.

I never knew that side of the ol' soccer legend.

Packing packing packing but I already did that the night before and I always wake up early so I did that to pass the time.

I jumped on my bed-well, foam, I picked the one near the wall.

Because it's cold.

And I miss beds next to walls.

I used to have my bed like that.

Yep.

So I jumped on my bed with my shoes on.

Because it was the last day and I had to make their washday worthwhile?

Er-yeah.

Lunch.

And everyone played a nice game of Killer in the Margaret Hall.

Except me and William and Miss Romero.

Ha.

I didn't feel like playing, that's all.

Then Madar's and Jason's car arrived and we were all given a lift back to school.

Old campus.

Where we started.

The End.

Period.

Me!

You don't believe me?

Fine.

Check out the link yourself.

http://twilighters.org/stephenie-meyer-scrapbook-project/?nggpage=2

There.

Click it.

It will only take you a sec.

Did you see it?

Did you see it?

Did you see it?

Top that!

The only Philippine-based fan who made it to the final scrapbook.

Where's the scrapbook now?

No one less than Mrs. Meyer herself!

My ears have now gone to the calmer shade of pink.

A little while ago it was crazy red.

My dad thought I was possessed or something but this is something HUGE!

Honestly.

I mean, at least I think so.

You can stop reading now.

I've made my point.

This made my day.

Extremely.

Unless you want to keep reading, fine.

Sure.

Here goes.

A few months back I decided to visit Twilighters.org.

I think it was a few days after Kellan and Nikki and Kristen and Rob announced the official name for Twilight fans.

Twilighters.

So I got a little curious.

I created an account and so on.

Clicked on lots of buttons on the hompage until I found the peculiar scrapbook project.

Sounds too good to be true.

I sent an entry.

Didn't get my hopes way up.

I didn't expect to get a space.

Even a little.

Even more, a picture that I submitted.

Heads up and thanks to Mr. Carlos Q. Tabada who made the picture wonderful and worth a second a glance with photoshop.

I am truly grateful, Q.

Maybe it's the pic that really made me get in.

The note itself was not too witty.

It was simple.

It was your everyday I love you Stephenie note.

Nevertheless, I made it.

And I'm so up now.

Up.

High.

I love everyone at Twilighters.org.

Although I'm not as lucky as Laura over there at Kellmet Happens who got a surprise visit from Rob, I still feel blessed.

This is so awesome.

I guess we can all say that good things come to Twilight fans.

Twihard.

Twilighters.

I especially identify myself a fang girl.

Whatever.

I'm a fan who got lucky.

Hehe.

Hehe.

Hehe.

I'm going mad.

Byee guys!

Attachment: stephenie meyer scrapbook.bmp

I wonder if they'll ever post that notice any time today or the next day? Probably not. To them, I was just another Stephenie Meyer girl who just wanted a "The Host" copy. But instead, I became a joke ten seconds after I approached the counter.

Everything was going swell. My brother and our helper (upon the urge of my dad who didn't like the idea of us taking a jeep alone back and forth. geez dad, I'm like 15! Lyle's like turning 12 this year!) and I rode a jeep to SM. Saves a lot of money compared to the regular cab. We picked up a birthday gift for dad in about 30 minutes from arrival time. That was a record breaker. It's a good thing he's a big coffee fan. And then, after we paid for the cup, I told the two to go and have some fun while I pick up the book-if they had the book already.

And boy did Powerbooks have it. I love that store. It's a bookworm's heaven. Anyway, I saw the copy and quickly grabbed it and dashed for the counter. I handed over the money-without counting-to the cashier. Why didn't I count it? I obviously prepared that money for what? Weeks now? Yes. Weeks. Two weeks. But I obviously didn't count it right. So typical Math-dummie me. Dun dun dun. And I gave all my money to Lyle so I had to run out of the store leaving all the money I had to look for him.

It was a desperate situation. He wasn't in his favorite store (aka Toy Kingdom) and all I had was 10 pesos in my wallet. I needed load. And fast. Too bad I didn't know any shop there who would reload for 10 pesos only. Nothing registered. Except my cousin's store. Of course! I just wish he was there. Well, as fate had been horrible to me today, he wasn't. He left an hour ago and the restaurant people were not about to believe me even if I'd told them I was his cousin slash neighbor slash annoying friend. Their family driver was a major savior. He handed me 5 pesos so I could have 15-the minimum for the load. Bummer. And then Lyle and our helper passed by just like that. And we dashed back to Powerbooks to give the lacking amount and take the book home.

Well, that's my story. I thought I'd never have a face to show in that store again but it is still the only place that sells the new arrival books the earliest in this city. Breaking Dawn's out in August. That gives me a few months for them to forget my face. Hihihi. I don't have a choice.

And now that I think about it, I think it's a good story to tell my classmates when we see each other again. They would be like 'You haven't changed a bit! And you've grown a little fat.' Wahaha.

Blog Entry`*`THE CATHOLIC SCHOOL GIRL`*`May 26, '08 11:18 AM
for everyone

(warning : this is a survey. viewing may cause discretion due to highly lethal vanity to some sensitive people.)

Before classes start again, recall what happened last school year ...

1. How many were you in your class?

40.

2. Who was your adviser/teacher-in-charge?

Gng. Panares.

3. Did you love it in your class? Why or why not?

Yeah. The people were awesome and the teacher was niice.

4. Who is considered a "cutie" in your class?

I don't remember. Lots of different people, a lot more different opinions.

5. Who was the naughtiest?

The Mean Guys. The rendition of LiLo's The Mean Girls.

6. You must be familiar with mean girls, bullies, jocks, nerds, etc. Were there groups in your school? Yes or no?

Yeah but to others, we all belonged in a group called 'geeks'. We are not geeks, by the way. We blow the minds out of the audience during play competitions.

7. Who was your last seatmate for the year?

Walton and William. They were the best. They may have been smart but I swear I didn't cheat on them without permission ever. Okay, maybe Walton during Math time but not on quiz days. Just reg seatworks. Everyone didn't understand that lesson anyway.

8. Who often sings?

Frankie and Fitz. They're very good people, too. Everyone was good.

9. Who dances?

The boys. I liked that number they did for the Variety Show with the song "Gikumot-kumot".

10. Who is the teacher’s pet?

Not me. I don't know who exactly but I'm telling you ahead. Not me. Gng. always said I talked too much.

11. Where do you usually eat, at the cafeteria or in the classroom?

Recesses in the classroom and Lunches at the cafeteria. On some occasions, we eat at the square only to be threatened to be sent to the DOSS by the guard.

12. Have you experienced suspension during the whole school year?

No. I may have not been that good but I stayed out of major trouble.

14. Did you have tutorial classes?

No. But I ask help from my classmates. Does that count? Not often but I would never pretend like I knew the topic when I didn't.

15. Up to what time do you usually stay at school?

5 or 5 something. Mark and Rhea were always the late comers. Seniors ... Fortunately, they're in college now.

16. Ever got into a CAT fight this school year? yes or no.

Oh my goodness, I am not very lady-like but I know that's just way beyond my limits. And obviously, it's a no.

17. Do you bring your cellphone in school?

Yes. Because it's allowed.

18. What was your favorite subject?

I really liked Social because Mdm. Torres is awesome. And English was so cool with Mdm. J that I don't feel so sleepy by the end of the day anymore.

19. Who was the cleaning freak in your class?

Everyone turned into clean freaks because of that one single incident. Haha. Gng. Panares sure did throw a fit on that one.

20. Who often changed seats?

Everybody. We changed seats every quarter.

21. Who was often late?

Richard. Haha.

22. Was there a foreigner in your class? Yes or no.

No.

23. Was there a strict English policy in your school?

There was. At some point in history, every time we spoke in the native dialect in English, we'd have to pay a fine of a peso. But it got abolished somehow.

24. Ever fell asleep in front of your teacher?

Yes. Oh my gosh. Mdm. Flores, forgive me. Maybe that's why my CLF card grade decreased. I was sleeping in a reg size Smurfs pillow on my desk and woke up drooling. Haha.

25. Is girlfriend/boyfriend allowed in your school?

No. If you're lucky, you don't get caught but it's better to be safe than sorry. Besides, I'm too happy being single and I love my friends to be my friends only forever.

26. Did you have any crush in school this year?

A strange one. I had a crush on one of the Japanese exchanged students. Taku. Lolz. It was crazy. And towards the end, I had a crush on a book character. Eeedward. Because boys in books are just way better. That's all, I guess.

27. Where did you study in the school year 2006-2007?

SHS-J.

28. What year/level were you there?

Freshie.

29. Did you have any love interest there? Yes or no.

No.

30. Who?

I didn't!

31. Was there detention in your school?

I don't know. Maybe. But I didn't get to have it so there.

32. Did you love P.E.?

I only liked PE when it was singing and dancing with Mdm. Alguno and Mdm. Seno. I hated jumping rope and everything else.

33. Was this year’s camp the best?

The best I had so far. I was in a tent with my best gal pals, our next-tent neighbors were also our gal pals, we played truth or dare and gossiped the night away. And we had to eat food-from-the can for majority of the meals. It was simply the best. A lot of other girl scouts didn't like it, though. It was quite hard to adjust with everything, we had our fights sometimes but we quickly made up anyway. That's the beauty of it.

34. How do teachers rate you?

The lowest I got was a B+. That's for Math. What can I say? It's such a cheating-prone subject.

35. What bugs you every morning when going to school?

Those red spots that suddenly appear on my face, my impossible eyes, my frizzy hair ... and the homework I forgot about. It's hard cheating on a moving car.

36. How often do you meet the principal/school director?

I always think Fr. Javier's still the principal in the high school department. He's such a nice guy, always mingling with the students. Fr. Velandria's not like that. He wasn't even present all throughout the school year. And then there was the sub, Mr. Ong. He was a good guy. Great teacher. I was a horrible student and I kept picking on him. Haha.

37. What was your least favorite hour while in school? Why?

Computer-Math. First 2 subjects in the afternoon. I would literally die.

38. Were you an athlete of the school?

No. I like sports but I'm not good enough for the team. I don't know. Never did try out anyway.

39. Do you usually go into other classrooms?

No. I stay put inside my classroom begging for food or reading a good book during recesses and lucky absent-teacher periods.

40. Ever cried in school this year?

Did I? I don't know. I don't think so.

41. Were you always early in the morning?

No. It's my other cousins' fault. They're boys and they act like freaking Mary Sues.

42. What do you do by the time you reach school?

I greet my seatmates a good morning and tell them a full recount of last night's funniest events.

42. Who were you always with?

I was kicked out of the lunch table halfway towards the end of the year but I was lucky enough to be welcomed into Fitz' table. They're the best guys. Frankie, Fitz, Nacey, Abigail, Lui ... did I miss somebody out? Please no. Anyway, I love them. They're true friends always sticking out for each other.

43. Who always answers the teacher’s question?

Depends on the subject but I distinctly remember Lucero raising his arm (pits) in every single question. I only answer the question when I see that nobody else knows. And when I'm in the mood. Not every question must be answered, anyway.

44. During examinations, do you review in the night or early in the morning?

Both. Always both.

45. Are you close with the teachers?

I don't think one of my teachers hate me. I mingle with them sometimes, fool around, do my part, and stay out of their way.

46. In your teachers, who can you run to?

I don't run to anyone. I didn't even tell Ms. Armada about my problems which were quite serious. And they were not high school teen romance love dilemmas either. So much more darker, deeper, and more intense. But I sorted them out myself. That's me. Ms. Independent.

47. Was your class wild?

For an honor's class, without a doubt. We were the worst honor's class my teachers had ever seen.

48. Who likes writing on the board?

Me. I loved to draw doodles, too.

49. how did your uniform look like?

Knee-length navy blue skirt. White polo with navy blue collar and awesome tie with the school seal. It was one of a kind. And everything would all go down to the shoes. There were really people who would insult your shoes and it was terrible. They were boys! Fashion critic boys?!

Blog Entry`*`SEE YOU AT C.U.`*`May 25, '08 8:55 PM
for everyone

Sunday afternoon.

Atsy Kiks called up.

She's like an awesome cousin.

Awesome friend.

Awesome 2-house away neighbor.

(Life's just good when you have a cousin who has a license and a job, you know what I'm saying?)

She asked me if I wanted to go with her at Club Ultima.

She was getting some kind of facial with her mom.

And Pansut needs someone to play Xbox with him for an hour.

But seriously, his name is Francis.

Just love to call him Pansut for no reason whatsoever.

He's also an awesome cousin.

Another awesome friend.

And an awesome 1-house away neighbor.

Haha.

He's like my age but a few months younger.

But he's way taller than me.

And plus we don't get to talk about anything much because he goes to PCGS.

And I'm like a Hearter.

He hates books.

I'm a sucker for them.

And he really couldn't stand me yesterday bringing two books with me.

He even fooled me when he'd said you need to pay a fee to gain entrance into CU's library.

Man, he was good.

It was my first time to be back in CU since its opening.

Opening of that Chinese restaurant somewhere up in that skyscraper.

Really long time ago.

Didn't like that food much so we never came back.

And unlike Pansut and my other cousins, we're not CU members, of course.

The good life's just going to have to wait, my dad says.

He's not into them.

So we had to leave him out yesterday.

Went to mass alone.

Shame on me.

And Lyle.

Wahaha.

Atsy Kiks and her mom, the outrageously funny Aunt Tessie, picked that diamond peel treatment.

Because they were given this free coupon by Pansut's mother.

So I think they got the package for free.

Pansut, Lyle, and I had to find something fun to do to occupy us for an hour.

There's that Xbox thing for 250 with that big AVR room up at the 18th floor.

Great great room.

You could see so much up there.

But the Xbox controllers were a bust.

So we were not able to play.

We played air hockey instead.

Bought a bag of Lays Barbeque and three cans of softdrinks for each of us.

An hour of air hockey.

Think about that.

We got so tired halfway we had to think of something.

I wanted the library.

But Pansut convinced me otherwise.

I had to be an ignorant boob to fall for that.

We went back down to the spa where Atsy Kiks and Aunt Tessie inquired about that treatment thing.

Body sculpting hooplahs.

Atsy Kiks and I are pretty much alike.

We've inherited chubby genes.

She's concerned about that.

But I'm still 15.

Maybe these are just baby fats and I'm hoping I'll lose them.

Oh what the heck.

'Nuff about that.

We rode the elevator back down to the basement.

And let me just tell you, we were so annoying in there it was lucky no one else rode with us.

I decided to watch the whole view going down.

My ears started to hurt.

Haha.

And my stomach rolled.

It was a funny sensation and my aunt did justice to her funny rep.

She was making all sorts of jokes and we were laughing our butts off.

Our next stop was Paseo Arcenas where Atsy Kiks treated us for pizzas at Da Vinci's.

Along the way, they were talking about the best pimple treatment soaps.

Yes.

Soaps.

I had nothing to contribute.

Pimple isn't a problem for me.

I use lots of products that are staple in my dresser.

Better safe than sorry, right?

Luckily, I had a book with me so I didn't look too out-of-place.

The way Lyle was.

Haha.

It was wet yesterday.

But that's the beauty about wearing long pants and sneakers.

And I'm so used to them.

We ordered 2 pans of pizza and I had to eat real slow so that my aunt wouldn't insist on putting another slice on my plate.

I ended up with 2 slices.

Thank goodness.

I was really in no mood to eat after that potato chip bag.

And I was so quiet about my first Coke Zero experience.

It was my first glass yesterday.

Haha.

Shh.

I'm a weirdo.

And then we all rode back home.

All 5 of us.

We thanked them for everything of course.

Nice nice afternoon.

If only the money Lyle and I used up was not mine.

Man.

And I need to get my hands on that Host copy.

I think I still have enough, though.

It's a good thing school's starting soon.

Then I'd get an allowance again.

Note to self.

Learn to save.

Summer's no fun without cash.

Okay.

That's about it.

I'll have my breakfast now.

Have a happy summer, you guys.

Although it's raining.

But that's what's making me happy.

I'm not a sun-type.

Byee!

Blog Entry`*`COPYCAT '45`*`May 13, '08 2:20 AM
for everyone

Another survey I copied from an unfortunate victim. Hey, let karma get me. Copy this one. Then let karma get you ...

1. If you're being extremely quiet

what does it mean?

-I'm thinking.

2. if someone hits you, what would you

do?

-I'd tell him/her "Ouch". If he/she looks like a softie, I'd add "Jerk".

3. song currently playing?

-"Sweetest Poison" by Nu Pagadi (a German rock band).

4. have you ever had a one night stand?

-No!

6. last time you laughed?

-This morning. My dad was joking about my future excuses when he gets me my own bike some time this year or the next.

7. has anyone told you they missed you

lately?

-My mum. She's always like that. Melodramatic.

8. are you wearing any clothes that

dont belong to you?

-Sometimes. I raid my dad's closet because he's got big loose shirts.

9. would you ever date your best

friend?

-I don't have a best friend. I have lots of friends and close friends, though, and sure, I'd date them as long as they're paying for it!?

10. have you ever received sexy pics

from someone?

-Hmm ... no.

11. do you regret anything from your

past?

-Definitely. But I'm not the kind of person who'd wish to go back in time. I want the future. But I don't want to grow old.

12. if you could seek revenge on

someone would you?

-Of course. No matter what the cost. I'm not usually this cold but if you knew me better, you'd understand.

13. how do you react when people cry

around you?

-If I made him/her cry, I'd totally go moping around and let guilt eat me up. If I'm not responsible, I'll probably get out of the room and get a whiff of fresh air. Negative vibes-a no no.

14. do you bump into someones arm if

you want to hold their hand?

-No because there's no such thing as the Edward Cullen.

15. last argument?

-My brother and I always argue. It's a family thing.

17. do you have a crush?

-Edward Cullen. I have a fictional, mythical crush and that's the truth.

18. do you know how to belly dance?

-I don't know if that was the real belly dance. My friends and I got together one Saturday to learn a thing or two about it.

19. are you in college?

-In a couple of years-if I don't get held back or something.

20. what are you listening to?

-Muse (Assassin). I created an all-rock playlist in Limewire. That way, no one else in my family would ever mess with it.

21. last beverage?

-C2 Lemon.

22. last nap?

-I don't nap. I sleep dead.

23. do you own a planner?

-No. I'm completely unorganized.

24. favorite month?

-December. But February was good to me this year. I always like the cold months. Someday, I'm moving to a really cold country and wear cute sweaters and drink coffee every single day!

25. would your parents be mad if you

got someone pregnant?

-Paraphrase the thing. 'If you get pregnant'. Heck yeah. They'd throw a fit. They'd throw me out. Maybe not. Who knows? Better safe than sorry.

26. would your parents be mad if you

were in a inter-racial relationship?

-I don't think so. My dad's eyebrows would usually crease a bit when I talk about cute foreign exchange students. But I don't do it often.

27. would they be mad if you were be

marrying at your age?

-If I lived in a different century, they'd be pressuring me right now. But in the 21st century, of course they would be mad! If I were a Moslem girl ... hmm ...

28. what are you doing (on) saturday?

-I don't really know. Stay at home probably, sip some coffee while reading Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned.

29. sweetest thing anyone has ever done

to you?

-I think it has to be everything dad's done for me and my brother. He can be real strict and hot-tempered at times but he's a good father. Just the unorthodox type.

31. kiss on the first date?

-Not gonna happen.

32. who all did you hang out with

today?

-Dad. Little brother.

33. favorite color?

-Black. White. Pink. Red.

34. how old are you?

-15.

35. excited for anything?

-Buying new school stuffs. Getting my hands on Stephenie Meyer's The Host and Breaking Dawn. And the Twilight Movie, of course.

36. fave song?

-I'm so much into Muse now. But I also like "Sweetest Poison". It's German and English and it's rock and it's just awesome. I found it in Youtube the other day. Became an instant fave.

37. would you ever steal someone's

g-tech?

-If it falls off the table, I'd pick it up. Unless he/she would ask where it went, I'll give it back. If not, hehe, I'm the luckiest chic alive.

38. last time you were confused?

-Never mind. I was confused about something insignificant. I hate my pathetic 15-year-old-girl's mind!

39. last time you smiled?

-I DO not know.

40. if you could cuddle with anyone

right now who would you pick?

-Edward Cullen.

42. will you ever kiss your bestfriend?

-On the cheek? My friend or close friend? Yeah, sure. No malice included.

43. rent a movie or go to movies?

-If only I had more moolahs, I'd pick go to the movies.

44. been to mexico?

-Nope.

45. happy with life?

-Contented.

Blog Entry`*`THE CHUBBY FANG GIRL # 1`*`May 6, '08 2:06 AM
for everyone

Welcome. Hii and Heyy to the launching of my nothing-too-special Twilight Teaser Trailer Blog Response. I call this one ...

THE CHUBBY FANG GIRL

response edition.
