Just a couple of days off the US release date. I think this calls for a celebration. The book will complete the Twilight Saga and it would be just appropriate if you bought the hardbound copy if you have enough moolahs by that time. Edward! Bite Bella already! I'm dying here. I'll probably turn into a vampire before Bella does. Still a month to go. Still lots to save up to.
Me! You don't believe me? Fine. Check out the link yourself. http://twilighters.org/stephenie-meyer-scrapbook-project/?nggpage=2 There. Click it. It will only take you a sec. Did you see it? Did you see it? Did you see it? Top that! The only Philippine-based fan who made it to the final scrapbook. Where's the scrapbook now? No one less than Mrs. Meyer herself! My ears have now gone to the calmer shade of pink. A little while ago it was crazy red. My dad thought I was possessed or something but this is something HUGE! Honestly. I mean, at least I think so. You can stop reading now. I've made my point. This made my day. Extremely. Unless you want to keep reading, fine. Sure. Here goes. A few months back I decided to visit Twilighters.org. I think it was a few days after Kellan and Nikki and Kristen and Rob announced the official name for Twilight fans. Twilighters. So I got a little curious. I created an account and so on. Clicked on lots of buttons on the hompage until I found the peculiar scrapbook project. Sounds too good to be true. I sent an entry. Didn't get my hopes way up. I didn't expect to get a space. Even a little. Even more, a picture that I submitted. Heads up and thanks to Mr. Carlos Q. Tabada who made the picture wonderful and worth a second a glance with photoshop. I am truly grateful, Q. Maybe it's the pic that really made me get in. The note itself was not too witty. It was simple. It was your everyday I love you Stephenie note. Nevertheless, I made it. And I'm so up now. Up. High. I love everyone at Twilighters.org. Although I'm not as lucky as Laura over there at Kellmet Happens who got a surprise visit from Rob, I still feel blessed. This is so awesome. I guess we can all say that good things come to Twilight fans. Twihard. Twilighters. I especially identify myself a fang girl. Whatever. I'm a fan who got lucky. Hehe. Hehe. Hehe. I'm going mad. Byee guys! Attachment: stephenie meyer scrapbook.bmp

Something to look forward to. The final book of the Twilight Saga may not be released in the Philippines on the same date as the US's or anywhere else but that only means a few more weeks wait. That's a good thing, right?

| | First of all, I just would like to thank Twilightlexicon for the link they provided for Gawariel's site-she made all these pictures possible. I don't know if I could get sued for taking some of these. But in my defense, I'm a hardcore fang girl. |
That's right folks-just number 1. Let me emphasize on that part because once you've seen this once, you'll just want to repeat it over and over again. Rob and Kristen, Rob and Kristen, Rob and Kristen, Kellan, Rob, Rob, Rob! Now I know that others are putting this up in their sites to and hey, sure, anybody can put this up in their sites. Who cares? The hype is everywhere. You can't blame anybody if they're totally bitten by the movie. Also, I'm launching a blog called "The Chubby Fang Girl" in response to the best 1 minute of my entire youth. So check that one out. Up real soon. For now, let your eyes bleed and hopefully, that'd attract the vampires to come and get you. Import.flv (2.1 MB)
See and hear Rob and Kristen talk about their kissing scenes. How all kisses turn to hell and Kristen's incapabilities to kiss-as told by Rob. Part 3 of the April 22 MTV Interview. Lovely. Import.flv (2.5 MB)
Hear Rob swear. Part 2 of the April 22 MTV interview on the set of Twilight. Talk about pure chemistry! Import.flv (1.5 MB)
See Kristen pick something in Rob's teeth on April 22. Yep. I'm serious. An MTV interview with-well, yeah, the title pretty much says it all. I'm uploading all three parts-all more or less about a minute only but they're the best.
PS : IMDB "The Last Tango In Paris"-the movie Kristen mentioned. You'll be surprised. Lol. Import.flv (3.3 MB)

| | The Twilight icons I've picked up from the many different sites I've visited. I deleted the previous Twilight icons album to make way for this. I added more and even gave them captions! Wait for them to load. They're worth it. XD |

| | Remember the night of the 200,000,000 peso-lottery prize up for grabs? Well, my dad got the numbers right and we flew to the US. I begged him to go to Washinton where they're shooting the Twilight movie. And then I took some pictures of the Twilight cast. Okay, so that's not the real story. But wouldn't it have sounded better than the truth? That I just happened to bump into these pictures on the net and a series of save as's followed? These are really great pics. I take pride of posting them here. The casts and crew seem to be really busy. Probably pressured of the December 12 release? Good luck, you guys. For now, Twihards, here's a close up look on what's going on on the scene. Here are pictures SNAPPED AT THE SCENE. |

Here's how I dish on Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" and its sequel "New Moon". I haven't read "Eclipse" yet even though I have the copy already. Please. The last thing I'd want is to let the book take over my whole existence. It already happened to the first 2 books. Who's to say what's going to happen to me after reading the third installment? And have you heard of the great reviews people's been giving it? Enough said.
1. Comment on 'Twilight'. - Masterpiece.
2. Comment on Bella. - Lucky.
3. Comment on Edward. - God.
4. Comment on Jacob. - Nuisance.
5. Comment on 'New Moon'. - Extraordinary.
More On Twilight. (Its Plot) - Here's how everything of Bella's nothing-out-of-the-ordinary life turns around. She moves out of her mother's house to give her more time with her new husband, Bella's stepdad-Phil, some privacy. She flies to a rainy little town in Forks, Washington to stay with her father. She's suppose to go on with her ordinary life-high school and all-until she meets the Cullens one lunch break. Edward Cullen, in particular. It was never a Bella-meet-Edward kind of thing. Edward was not a very sociable type of guy and so was his brothers and sisters-Emmet and Rosalie, and Alice and Jasper-who are all together. Like a couple thing. And no, it's not incest because they're not really related. They're 'adopted' by Dr. Carlisle and Esme Cullen-at least, this was the story they made the townspeople believe. It's better than saying 'We're a family of vampires!', right? Bella gets intrigued by Edward as the days pass by but all he does is stir clear from her. Sometimes he even gives her the bad look which makes you think Bella poked him with a pencil. But don't fret. the two'll eventually fall in love, as far as the story goes but things never go smoothly. The Cullens are nice people-vamipres-whatever. They accept Bella into their family and they invite her to their games of baseball and all that jazz. But towards the end of the book, disaster strikes and a vampire's on the loose who'd do anything to taste Bella's blood < which is suppose to taste really really good (wrinkles nose). Will Edward and Bella survive? ... Of course they will! Why would there be 3 more sequels. Stupid question. But still. Hold on to your copies, ladies and gentlemen. It's going to be a rough ride!
Everyone's a Critic (Review Proper) - A masterpiece-that's what Stephenie Meyer made for us. I guess the world would be a lot more emptier if this book didn't hit the bookstores' shelves. And so would my own (pitiful) personal collection of books. What I like about it is how the author made each character so vivid. I can even picture myself as one of them (who wouldn't want to be Bella, anyway?). It's unbelievable but I've never read a book with characters as alive as the "Twilight"'s are. I can't say anything about the story, too. It's just great. It's got this whole appeal and it's everything you ever wanted on one platter. It's romance, it's suspense, paranormal, dark comedy, everything. I did hear rumors that it's a very chic novel-so boys don't usually go as nuts over it as the girls do. I don't know what makes it a chic novel, though. Maybe it's because of the intense love burning between Bella and Edward. Who knows? Just because it's a love story, it doesn't have to be chic. Chic's like those Hilary Duff movies but this is masterpiece. You're labeling the Mona Lisa chic, then eh?
More on New Moon (Its Plot) - It picks up on where "Twilight" left. Here, a year passes and Bella gets older (18, actually). I see her point. She pressures Edward into changing her into a vampire-for one, she wants to be with him for the rest of eternity and another-she does not want to become the old lady she saw in her nightmare. The Cullens decide to throw a birthday bash for her but things get a little out of hand when Bella gets a paper cut and one of the Cullens almost attacked her for his (or her) lack of control. This upsets Edward and decides that his entire vampire clan should leave Bella alone to go on with her normal mortal life. Who wouldn't be upset when a 'god' leaves you? Of course Bella was moping around and she felt like she could die of loneliness and of despair. She only brightens up when she starts hanging out with Jacob Black, the son of his father's good friend, Billy Black. Little did she know that Jacob's got a dirty little secret and she has to choose between his team or Edward's. And can her heart still be faithful to Edward-when Jacob's starting to make her like him-like him? Will Romeo ever come back for Juliet before Paris changes her mind?
Everyone's a Critic (Review Proper) - Extraordinary. The book must be possessed! As usual, the characters were good enough to be alive and step out of the book. And you'd think that would be enough but not for Stephenie Meyer. She had to give the characters strange powers to manipulate with your thoughts and feelings. Beware. But seriously, although this book may seem a little draggy at times-just because Edward stepped out of the picture for a few hundred pages-it doesn't have to be a bad book. In fact, it got really climatic towards the end. Especially when Bella was hopelessly searching for Edward in Volterra-you'll find out by the time you read-I could even hear the clock chime in my head. I was cheering for Bella and I was crumpling the bedcover where I sat as I read the book. I was even more thrilled reading that part than watching some real movie. That was one extraordinary experience.
How To Get Bitten (Where to Find Copies) - Oh, they're everywhere. But the tough part is getting the best value. Don't even go near the National Bookstore branch in Mango Square. It's just plain bad because I couldn't find a single copy there. Last Friday afternoon, I went to the Ayala branch and I found "New Moon" and "Eclipse" only. The "Twilight" copy I had to get a jeepney ride to the SM branch. I've been told that Powerbooks has all three books but that all depends on you. If you're the kind of person who wants everything done at once-and you don't mind spending extra cash-then you can go to Powerbooks. But if you want the best deals available in the city-go to either the SM or Ayala branch since NBS is giving out discounts that'll drive you nuts. I got my "Twilight" copy for as low as 284 even if its original price is suppose to be 355. Now that's value! And another thing, do buy tape and plastic cover to protect your copies. You might want to save them for the next generation or something like that.
And if you're one big big big Twilight series fan, or you're just itching up for more information, visit www.stepheniemeyer.com. Its got the latest (and more trustworthy) scoop on the fourth installment, the special edition of the third book, and the most-awaited movie, of course!
